In a heartfelt address to the state amidst the ongoing unrest, Manipur Governor Anusuiya Uikey on Wednesday appealed for unity and peaceful resolution emphasising the importance of the state's tradition of peaceful coexistence.

Anusuiya Uikey made the appeal during the launching of Ayushman Bhava campaign in Imphal.
The governor implored all citizens to renounce violence, discard rumours and come together with open hearts and minds, setting aside differences to find solutions to the challenges facing the state.

"Leave the path of violence, ignore rumours, and respect each other's views. Help those people suffering from this crisis and try to bring them back to a happy life by consoling them," the governor said.
