As a part of environmental service activity under ‘One Multiple One Activity for Multiple district MD 332’, members of Lions Club of Imphal Valley (LCIV) carried out a tree plantation programme at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex on Sunday.

The programme was organised under the theme “Each one Plant One” with the view to help keep the sports complex a green environment zone.
In a release jointly signed by club president L Joykumar Sharma and club administrator N Romi Singh, it is mentioned that LCIV has been taking social responsibility and service to the community as part of service to humanity under Lion Clubs International District 322D.

During the programme, about 40 saplings including shade trees, fruit bearing plants were planted.
