Speaking to the media, Neinu, President of KWU Saikul said that the allegation of Village Development Committee of Pukhao Naharup and other Pukhao bodies over an alleged attempt to include or convert land belonging to Imphal East under Kangpokpi district is baseless and it is an attempt to create misunderstanding among different communities.

She pointed out that there is a clear existing boundary of the Kangpokpi district and there is no new map where land belonging to Imphal East or others is included or converted under the Kangpokpi district.

The allegation of Pukhao bodies is not only baseless but a sinister design to create enmity and misunderstanding among the diverse communities living peacefully in the area, she alleged.

The KWU Saikul President also said that Saikul is like a mini-India where diverse communities live peacefully in all aspects and there has never been any harassment, discrimination, or ill-treatment to any communities be it in the business sector or any others.

The KWU Saikul appealed to the Pukhao bodies not to disrupt the peaceful environment with such unfounded allegations in the future but rather paved the way for strengthening cordial relationships and bonds among various communities living together peacefully in the area.
