The Kuki Inpi South West Sadar Hills (KISWSH) has vehemently opposed the proposed deployment of state forces to escort vehicles along National Highway 37, known as the Imphal-Jiribam Road.
Kuki Inpi expressed grave concerns over the proposal in a release, claiming that it is a deviation from the established security protocol.
With a backdrop of successes in maintaining peace and averting conflicts along NH 37 by the central security forces, the Kuki Inpi is resolute in their stance against any alteration to this arrangement, it stated.
Kuki inpi issued a warning, urging the immediate withdrawal of the plan to deploy state forces. Any deviation from the established security measures will absolve them of any responsibility for the potentially dire consequences that may ensue, it said.
