Kshetrigao MLA Sheikh Noorul Hassan on Monday extended his best wishes to all on the occasion of Eid ul-Fitr which falls on Tuesday.
Eid ul-Fitr is the festival that marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, during which followers of the faith observe a fast from dawn to dusk. Eid is a festival of charity and a festival for self-introspection, said the MLA in his message.
“I wish for a joyous and prosperous Eid-ul-Fitr and hope the festival will strengthen the bond of brotherhood, peace and harmony in society. Let's help the vulnerable and needy people by making significant donations to many charitable causes,” it mentioned.
Giving and sharing will enrich one’s lives with a spirit of brotherhood and empathy for the deprived, it said adding may Eid-ul-Fitr bring us peace, forgiveness, compassion, and respect for all. “Eid Mubarak to you and your family,” it added.
