District Administration, Kakching has successfully felicitated the placement of 15 students in the hospitality sector in major cities like Bangalore, Gurgaon and Chennai.
The students, who underwent a rigorous 10 weeks training programme specialising in food and beverage services, have secured employment opportunities in top tier establishments within the hospitality industry, stated a release issued by deputy commissioner, Kakching Rohit Anand.
An expert trainer from New Delhi, provided by primero skills and training private limited imparted the training ensuring the participants received the highest quality skill development.
The programme was part of an initiative led with the valuable support of justice Geeta Mittal, whose involvement has been instrumental in empowering the youth of Kakching, it mentioned.
The District Administration is committed to fostering employment and skill development among young people in the region, and this initiative is a testament to those efforts.
This successful placement is just the beginning. Plants are already in motion for a second batch of training, provided more interested participants come forward to seize this opportunity, it added.
