Jiribam DC urges to submit hailstorm damage report

Affected persons are to submit detailed damage reports, accompanied by photographs, to the respective Sub Deputy Collectors/Sub-Divisional Officers in their area of jurisdiction.

The Government of Manipur has issued a notice urging residents of Jiribam District to submit damage reports in the wake of a severe hailstorm and heavy rainfall that struck the state on Sunday and April 24, 2024.

The notice, released by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Jiribam, notified that affected persons must submit detailed damage reports, accompanied by photographs, to the respective Sub Deputy Collectors/Sub-Divisional Officers in their area of jurisdiction.

Details must be submitted to Khaidem Bangky Meitei, SDC Jiribam (7384770682) for Jiribam Circle and W Dearson, SDC Borobekra (8447238183) for Borobekra circle. Th. Manoranjan Singh, ADC/Jiribam & SDO will be the overall officer in charge of Jiribam and Borobekra.

The notice said that all reports must reach the office of the respective Sub-Divisional Officer no later than May 7, 2024. It also appealed to the people to contact 7085052630 in case of any emergency in connection with the rainfall and hailstorm.
