A release stated that anyone who willfully joins the assembly using video conference, phone call or any other mode of communication will be held responsible for their actions.

The ITLF also stated that the statement made by Meitei CSOs (Meira paibis etc) that they will be holding a rally on August 13, 2023 from Kanggui to Lamka is a contempt for the Zo People (Kuki-Zo Community) and cannot be accepted by them. Therefore, no Meetei will be allowed to set foot inside tribal land and any one disregarding this notification shall be held responsible for their action, it stated.
