22 Sector Assam Rifles DIG Brigadier PS Arora on Monday interacted with the campers of Rani Gaidinliu training campers of pre-recruitment training to Assam Rifles and Army organised by 44 Assam Rifles.
The Rani Gaidinliu Training camp started on October 18, getting a positive response from the locals, which now include 345 registrations and 255 attendees including 56 girls from Tamenglong district.
Keeping the enthusiasm of the locals in mind, DIG 22 Sector AR paid a special visit to the camp location at Tamenglong, wherein he interacted with the trainees in the battalion headquarter of 44 Assam Rifles.
He motivated the young boys and girls to work harder, have a competitive spirit and never let the zeal of learning fade away. He urged the youth to contribute positively in nation building.
DIG Brigadier PS Arora also took the feedback with respect to the training, to which the students expressed their gratitude to the DIG and the Assam Rifles for the overall conduct of the training camp.
Brigadier PS Arora further conveyed that this training will definitely empower the youth of Zeliad region to take part in upcoming recruitment rallies of the Army and the Assam Rifles. He also applauded the sincere efforts of the Tamenglong Battalion in developing the region.
