Commemorating the 126th Birth Anniversary of Lamyanba Hijam Irabot, team Imphal Times is organising an Online Essay Competition.
This is the 2nd time that the Team Imphal Times is organising an essay competition. This year's theme is – “Manipur’s Socio-Economic Problems: System Failure or Individual False.”
According to a release issued by Team Imphal Times on Thursday, all submitted essays will be published in the Imphal Times newspaper and the name of the winners will also be published. The word count for the essay must be between 1,000 and 1,200 words.
The prize of the competition consists of cash and a certificate. For 1st prize is Rs 5,000, 2nd prize Rs 3,000, and 3rd price Rs 2,000. The competition is opened to all individuals and every submission must be accompanied by a photo/image of the candidate.
The last date of submission is 6 pm on October 30. All participants should enclose details of their bio-data. Medium of the competition is English.
