IDCF 2022 launched in Churachandpur

The CMO said that the mode of distribution of Zinc tablets and ORS will be through ASHA and Aganwadi workers, house to house, where delivery will be based on the number of children between 0 to five years.

Intensified Diarrhoea Control Fortnight (IDCF) 2022 was launched in Churachandpur district on Wednesday by Addl DC, Khaikhopau Ngaihte, at the District Hospital conference hall.

It was launched in the presence of Churachandpur CMO Dr Kimngaihching Simte, representatives from ZEO and other dignitaries. The programme was organised by the District Health Society, National Health Mission, Churachandpur.

Ngaihte said the event will be held for a period of three weeks and called on the medical department to make sure that it reaches interior villages so that the purpose is served. He also spoke on the importance of clean drinking water for which the dept of PHSC had demonstrated water sample testing earlier in the day.

She also requested the PHED to test the safety level of water so that the problem of diarrhoea will be successfully checked.
