HR activist Babloo Loitongbam’s home vandalised

As per sources, around 30 persons in two gypsies came and entered at the residence of the human rights activist around 6 pm.

Miscreants vandalised the residential office of human rights activist Babloo Loitongbam at Kwakeithel Thiyam Leikai, Imphal West on Thursday evening.

As per sources, around 30 persons in two gypsies came and entered at the residence of the human rights activist around 6 pm.

As per eyewitness, the locals of the area tried to stop the miscreants but they overpowered the locals and locked the main gate from inside and started vandalising the properties of Babloo.

In the incident, one car was vandalised, some window panes and properties were damaged.

They took the CCTV cameras and the footage before immediately fleeing from the spot. After the incident, a team of Lamphel Police station rushed to the spot for spot enquiry.

When a media team tried to take comments from the family members, they declined from giving any. The reason for the incident is yet to be ascertained. Babloo Loitongbam was out of station when the incident took place.
