Chairman, Homestay Sub Committee, additional deputy commissioner, Ukhrul Chunglenmang on Tuesday listed the available homestay facilities, following directions issued by the Tourism department, Manipur for arranging homestay in view of the 4th Shirui Lily Festival which is to be held from May 25 to 28.
Homestay facilities have been identified in Ukhrul district headquarters, Langdang and Shirui village and categorised as ‘A/Deluxe’, ‘B/Classic’, ‘C/Standard’ and ‘D/Dormitory’, stated an order signed by Homestay Sub Committee chairman.
It stated that Category A/Deluxe at the rate of Rs 2,750 per day will have proper building with Bedroom, Kitchen, Toilet and Parking facility. The owners are ready to provide Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at prices they have fixed, it mentioned. The Sub Committee will have no say on food pricing, it mentioned. This category is suitable for a family of 4-5 persons, it added.
Category B/Classic at the rate of Rs 2250 per day will have Bedroom, Toilet with or without Kitchen, it stated. This category is suitable for a small family of 3 or 4 persons, and the parking is optional, it stated. While the food is also optional, it can be taken outside or at rates fixed by the owners, it mentioned.
The order further stated that the category C/Standard at the rate of Rs 1,500 per day will have a single room with toilet. This category is suitable for two persons. It has parking (optional) while food will not be provided by the owners, it stated
Lastly, Category D/Dormitory at the rate of Rs 400 per night is meant for single people and it has toilets available, it stated. The location is in the Hamleikhong area (100 meters from the DC Office, Ukhrul), it added.

Homestay owners shall obtain the aadhaar card and details of the guests and share them with the helpline co-ordinators and further inform in advance when the guests shall check out from the homestay, it stated.
