Rotary Club of Polo City Imphal in collaboration with District Health Mission Society Imphal West conducted a joint Health Mission Project at Community Health Centre Khumbong on Monday.
A release by Rotary Club of Polo City Imphal stated that the Rotary Club in collaboration with District Health Mission Society Imphal West under the aegis of CMO Imphal West conducted the Health Mission Project.
The programme included lectures on awareness of cervical cancer to the local and VIA screening conducted by a team of doctors and staff of District Health Mission Society, it continued. A total of 25 beneficiaries with various Asha workers were present for the health camp, it mentioned.
The programme was attended by CMO Imphal West Jogindra Loitongbam as the chairperson and Rotary Club of Polo City Imphal former president and Wangkhei assembly constituency MLA Thangjam Arunkumar as the guest of honour, it added.
