Manipur Governor La Ganesan extended warm salutations to the people of the state, especially the Christian community on the occasion of Good Friday, 2022.
Sent to bring a new world order based on truth, humility, sacrifice, equality, compassion and peace, Jesus is a giant among humans, and his preaching of peaceful coexistence and love for thy neighbours had withstood the test of time, the governor stated in his message.
Good Friday exemplifies Jesus' supreme sacrifice for all sins of mankind and his resurrection represents the victory of good over evil, he mentioned.
“On this holy and pious occasion, let us all rededicate to the noble ideals of peace, harmony and brotherhood espoused by Jesus for a better world devoid of all evils,” he added.
