The district administration Bishnupur today held the full dress rehearsal of the Republic Day parade 2023 at the Mini Stadium Ground/DSA Ground Bishnupur, where the observance of the Republic Day celebration, 2023 will be held on 26th January, 2023.
The district administration also appealed to the people of the district to come and witness the celebration of the Republic Day, 2023.
In all, 27 contingents and two cultural troupes took park in the full dress rehearsal. These 27 contingents that will march past on the Republic Day celebration includes eight platoons, 17 contingents of school students, one each contingent of Anganwadi Workers, ICDS Cell, Bishnupur, Bishnupur District ASHA Contingent and Bishnupur Kha Ward No. 5 & 6 Woman contingent.
On the Republic Day Celebration, the chief cuest, Deputy Commissioner, Bishnupur district Lourembam Bikram will unfurl the National Flag and take the salute of the march past.
Parade Commander will be Satyaam Takhellambam, additional SP (Law & Order), Bishnupur.
