The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, (RIMS), Imphal on Thursday cautioned the general public of some fake appointment orders of RIMS which have been currently under circulation.
A release stated that the orders which show several persons being appointed as administrative staff, store staff etc. in RIMS, Imphal were not issued by the authority of RIMS, Imphal.
It added that some unscrupulous elements are operating thereby trying to mislead the candidates/public by issuing such fabricated orders of appointment against various posts at RIMS which shall not be treated as authentic. In this regard, RIMS authority also registered an FIR to Lamphel Police station, it said.
Circulation of such fake orders and any correspondence related thereto is a criminal act and also strict legal action can be taken against such mischievous persons involved in this heinous act, it mentioned.
It appealed to the general public to be cautioned against the activities of these fraudulent persons and advised not to fall prey to the designs of unscrupulous elements.
If any person feels suspicious or in doubt regarding any appointment order, the matter may be reported to the office of Director, RIMS, Imphal, it said.
