The BJP in Thoubal on Friday celebrated the completion of the party's eight-year rule at the office of BJP Thoubal district at Khongjom in Thoubal district.

Addressing the meddia, Heirok MLA Thokchom Radheshyam said that owing to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts, India has been able to make its mark among other nations.

“We should never disregard the measures taken up by PM N Modi-led BJP during the COVID-19 pandemic, including providing free vaccinations and distribution of essential food items,” he mentioned.

He recalled BJP’s various developmental projects such as PM Garib Kalayan Anna Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission and other schemes.

The event was attended by former MLA of Lilong assembly constituency Y Antas Khan, BJP Thoubal district president Yumnam Kumarjit, former candidate of Wangkhem assembly constituency Y Nabachandra, BJP Manipur Pradesh Mahila Morcha leader K Inaocha along with BJP Thoubal district office bearers and other members.
