Economic survey conducted at four more relief camps

The fifth round of economic survey was conducted in relief camps to seek measures from the Central and state government for providing relief to the affected victims.

Continuing its efforts to provide assistance to the affected victims of the conflict, Manipur Indigenous Conservative Forum (MICF) on Thursday conducted economic surveys collecting information on the damage or loss suffered by the victims alongside distribution of relief materials.

The surveys aiming to seek measures from the Central and state government for providing relief to the affected victims were conducted for the fifth round at four relief camps namely Naorem Birahari College Relief Camp, Khumdrakpam, Sawombung Relief Camp, Sawombung, Yourabung primary school, Yourabung and Government dance college relief camp, palace compound, as per a release.

The inmates at the camps raised their grievances and appealed to the Central and state government to take necessary steps to resolve the prevailing issue and restore peace and normalcy in the state at the earliest, it added.
