Drug licenses of two pharmacies suspended

The drug licenses of two pharmacies were suspended resulting to the findings during the investigation process of one unauthorised drug Kaya-DSR (Rabeprazole IP 20 mg and Dompiridone IP 30 mg), a release stated.

The State Drugs Licensing and Controlling Authority Directorate of Health Services Manipur has suspended the drug licenses of two pharmacies and instructed them to close down their pharmacies with immediate effect until further orders.

N Rimotkumar of the Drug control administration said in a press release that the licenses were suspended under rule 66 (1) of the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules 1945, resulting to the findings during the investigation process of one unauthorised drug Kaya-DSR (Rabeprazole IP 20 mg and Dompiridone IP 30 mg).
