In connection with the incident, a couple identified as Heisman James, 32, son of H Kumar from Lamboi Khongnangkhong near Lamphel Police Station and his wife Heisnam Ongbi Sandhyarani, 33 have been arrested.
He said that Binodkumar said that Priyobrata was a calm, gentle and hard-working person, and the drivers are still confused about the reason behind his murder. The government and authority concerned should take stringent action towards the culprits and those who are involved in the incident, he added.
“Following the incident, our family members are going through fear considering that such unwanted incidents could occur to any one of us,” said Binodkumar.
