SAK Yumnam Khunou held on ESU Wangkhei by 1-1 goals to share a point each in the Maharajkumar Ghanendrajit Memorial Super Division Football League 2022 played at Artificial Turf, Lamlong Thongkhong.

Goalless in the first half, ESU Wangkhei found the opening in the 49th minute of play when Ksh Somokanta Singh lunged on a loose ball to push home the leading goal. However, SAK rallied hard and gave a tough time to ESU defence and finally floored the defence with Adison Kom, netting home the equaliser in the 87th minute to level 1-1 goals till the final whistle. SAK player Th Rajesh got a yellow card in the match.

In the other match, UPAA Kiyamgei also managed a 1-1 goals draw against ABA Kshetrigao to share a point each. O Paramjit struck the opening goal for Kiyamgei in the 17th minute and later Guljar fetched the equaliser for ABA in the 37th minute.

ABA players Joel Kom, Maqubul Alam and UPAA players O Paramjit and Th Paikhomba received yellow cards in the match.
