District Skill and Employment Mela held at Pherzawl

The Skill and Employment Mela 2023 was organised with the aim to provide employment opportunities to the youths by providing skill training.

District Skill and Employment Mela 2023 organised by District Skill Committee, Pherzawl was held at Ankhasuo Village Community Hall under the Vangai Range Sub-Division of Pherzawl district on Thursday.

The Skill and Employment Mela was organised by the District Skill Committee, Pherzawl under the auspices of Union Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Ministry with the coordination of MNGF Pherzawl Nepoleon Khwairakpam and the support of district administration, Pherzawl.

The event was attended by Pherzawl district DC Haulianlal Guite as the chief guest along with DFO Pherzawl Forest Division Th Autumn. The chief guest highlighted the importance of skill development in the current competitive job market with limited vacancies in the public sector. He also urged the participants to avail the opportunities provided by the government.

At the event, various institution of the state opened their stalls including JCRE Skills Solution, National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Ozone Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Rural Self Employment Training Institutes (RSETI), Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM) and Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology (CIPET).

The Skill and Employment Mela 2023 was organised with the aim to provide employment opportunities to the youths by providing skill training while building a vibrant skill development ecosystem as well.
