A district-level photo exhibition on the life and mission of PM Narendra Modi was held on Saturday at Zenhang Lamka Community Hall, organised by BJP Churachandpur district.
It was inaugurated by Churachandpur MLA LM Khaute in the presence of the chief of Hiangtam Lamka, Zenhang Lamka and Pearsonmun, president of BJP Churachandpur district Thangngam Haokip and his cabinet and party workers.
The event was held to mark the 6th day of Seva Pakhwada (a fortnight for social service) as part of the 72nd birthday celebration of PM Modi.
As chief guest, LM Khaute said that the occasion was a memorable occasion and called it one of the most important of the 15 days of Seva Pakhwada. He highlighted the life of the Prime Minister who started as a humble BJP worker and was involved during the fame emergency in the mid-70s.
PM Modi did exceptionally well during the natural calamity in Gujarat which led him to be the CM of Gujarat and later on as one of the well-known and performing Prime Ministers of India, the MLA added.
