A comprehensive review meeting was conducted by the district administration Chandel on Thursday to assess the monthly progress of the Sampoornata Abhiyan under the NITI Aayog’s Aspirational District Programme (ADP), Chandel.
The meeting also evaluated the ongoing initiatives under the Aspirational Block Program (ABP), Chakpikarong at Chamber of the Deputy Commissioner Chandel.
The meeting, presided over by Mayanglambam Rajkumar, Deputy Commissioner, Chandel, included the presence of CMO, Chandel, ZEO, Chandel, representatives from various line departments, and officials from the ADP Cell.
The discussions centered on the achievements, challenges, and strategies needed to accelerate development initiatives in Aspirational District Chandel and Aspirational Block Chakpikarong. Key areas of progress included percentage of Antenatal Care (ANC) registration within the first trimester against total ANC registered and fully immunization of children, distribution of text books in schools, soil health card distribution system, and Mobilization of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) account opening regarding SHGs Revolving Funs etc.
However, challenges such as gaps in service delivery and the need for enhanced community participation were also highlighted.
The district administration emphasized the importance of a coordinated approach to ensure that all planned interventions under Sampoornata Abhiyan are effectively implemented. Special attention was given to ensuring that marginalized communities within the district and block receive the necessary support to improve their living standards.
The meeting concluded with a call to action for all stakeholders to redouble their efforts to achieve the program’s objectives, with a commitment to regular monitoring and timely redressal of issues.
The district administration reaffirmed its dedication to driving inclusive growth and sustainable development in Chandel and Chakpikarong through the continued implementation of NITI Aayog’s initiatives.
