‘Disability Certificates' provided to 30 PwDs at Disability Assessment Camp at Heirok

Disability Assessment Camp to provide ‘disability certificate’ to Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) was organised at Heirok part II, Thoubal district, Manipur.

Disability Assessment Camp to provide ‘disability certificate’ to Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) was organised by SAKSHAM, Thoubal Jilla Manipur, Khangabok under the aegis of District Level Medical Board (Disability) Thoubal district at Heirok part II Laimayum community hall on Monday.

During the Disability Assessment Camp to provide ‘disability certificate’ to PWDs, experts including PMR, Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists, Ophthalmologists and ENT specialists examined and assessed the participants.

In the camp, 30 of the 70 participants who were assessed had a high disability percentage and were given ‘Disability Certificate' accordingly.

MLA of Heirok assembly constituency Thokchom Radhashyam attended the camp, and commended and encouraged the organisers. He extended appreciation to Heirok Jilla Parishad member T Nungshi, Heirok part III Gram Panchayat pradhan N Tangba, other ward member, and Heirok PRI members for their support in organising the camp. He continued that a similar camp will be organised at Khangabok Mayai leikai community hall on May 30.
