DigiBunai: Awareness on digital weaving launched for weavers and artisans in Imphal East

A 10-day traning programme on “DigiBunai (digital weaving) CAD Software” was launched at Kshetrigao Awang Leikai in Imphal East.

In a first, an awareness building and training programme for designers, weavers and artisans on “DigiBunai (digital weaving) CAD Software” was launched at Kshetrigao Awang Leikai in Imphal East on Tuesday.

It was organised by the Integrated Research and Resource Development Organisation under the Digital India Corporation (DIC) project “Customisation, Enhancement and Deployment of Digital Solution for Empowerment of Citizens of NE India” of the Textile Sector Skill Council.

As many as 60 trainers turned up on the first day of the 10-day training programme which will be conducted on RLP and bridge course for a total of 80 hours with a duration of 8 hours per day.

The programme was attended by pradhan of Kshetrigao Part-I Md Fazhur Rahman Field executive technical of DIC Guneshwor and M Iboyaima Singh as presidium members.
