Speaking to the media CoTU Media Cell coordinator Ng Lun Kipgen said, the candlelight vigil is purely an intent to show their solidarity and support to the martyrs and victims' families and give them a message that the Kuki-Zo family is with them.

We reiterated our demand for President's Rule in Manipur and appealed to look into our demand for a separate administration at the earliest, Kipgen said.
