Minister Th Biswajit on Wednesday felicitated Delhi Ratna Awardee Captain Kshetrimayum Imochaoba Singh.

"Felicitated Captain Kshetrimayum Imochaoba Singh for his remarkable achievements. He has made all Manipuris proud especially our Thongju Constituency on receipt of the Delhi Ratna Award in April 2022 for his achievement in the field of Hot Air Ballooning & other Aero sports," Minister Biswajit said in a tweet.

Captain Kshetrimayum Imochaoba Singh was presented the Delhi Ratna Award on April 24, 2022 by Bharat Manch for his remarkable achievement in the field of Hot Air Ballooning and Aero sports.

Captain Imochaoba is the only pilot instructor for Hot Air Balloon issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). He has represented India in Hot Air Balloon championships in various parts of the world.

Captain Imochaoba will be representing India at the 24th FAI World Hot Air Balloon Championship in Slovenia on September 22, 2022.
