A two-day commemoration marking the first death anniversary of social activist Mandir Laishram, organised by the Heirok Apunba Club (HAC), concluded at the Heirok Part I Mamang Community Hall on Tuesday.

Speaking at the event, Heirok Zilla Parishad member Moirangthem Rajamani noted Mandir Laishram’s dedicated contributions during his lifetime and maintained the importance of embracing his ideals for the community’s welfare.

During the event, Hakshel cards were distributed, and gifts were presented to elders residing in the local old age home.

A two-minute silence was observed, along with floral tributes honouring the departed soul of Mandir.

Pradhan of Heirok part I L Khamba, chairperson of Child welfare Committee Thoubal L Romen and vice chairperson of Heirok Municipal council Th Birjit, among others, attended the event.
