The Manipur State Transport (MST) on Tuesday announced that it has arranged a daily dedicated public transport system for ferrying the general public and interested individuals to attend and take part at the Shirui Lily Festival from May 25 till 28.
Three buses will ply between MST office, Moirangkhom, Imphal and Ukhrul as per the following schedule, stated a notice issued by Transport director Nivedita Lairenlakpam.
The first bus from MST office, Moirangkhom Imphal to Ukhrul will leave at 7 am and depart Ukhrul for the return journey at 2.30 pm, it stated. The second bus will leave at 7.30 am and return at 3.00 pm while the third bus will leave at 8.30 and return at 3.30, it added.
The passengers can avail the tickets for the dedicated MST bus service at the rate of Rs 180 to participate or attend the festival on the same day from ticket counters opened at MST and Ukhrul, it mentioned.
