Condolences pour in for RK Rajendra

Lieutenant Colonel RK Rajendra, who was also a former Member of Manipur Human Rights Commission (MHRC), passed away on Tuesday after a prolonged illness.

Various organisations and associations mourned the untimely demise of former social activist RK Rajendra of Yaiskul Hiruhanba Leikai in Imphal West District.

Federation of Civil Society Organisations (FOCS), Manipur, and Universal Mother’s Organisation (UMO) on Wednesday condoled the untimely demise of RK Rajendra and said that his sudden demise is an irreparable loss to the State.

The two organisations, in separate releases, eulogised RK Rajendro for his valued contributions and efforts for welfare of the society. FOCS and UMO also shared grief of the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest peacefully in heavenly abode.

Lieutenant Colonel RK Rajendra, who was also a former Member of Manipur Human Rights Commission (MHRC), passed away on Tuesday after a prolonged illness. During his lifetime, he wrote various notable books including books about the origin of the Kukis, the releases mentioned.
