Community radio station ‘Ching Ching’ launched

The radio will be operated by Kha Manipur development organisation (KMDO), Kakching Chumnang Leikai, Arshram Road and will broadcast in Kakching dialect.

Community radio station ‘Ching Ching’ which will be broadcast at FM 89.6  MHz under Ministry of Broadcasting was launched on Sunday at Kakching Chumnang Leikai, Arshram Road in Kakching District.

The radio will be operated by Kha Manipur development organisation (KMDO), Kakching Chumnang Leikai, Arshram Road and will broadcast in Kakching dialect.

Former director of Manipur remote sensing application centre Dr. Nahakpam Randhir, and former ZEO and president of Writers Association Kakching Nimai Pukhramba among others attended the event.

Speaking at the event, Nahakpam Randhir highlighted the significant benefits 'Ching Ching' radio will provide to the community across various domains. He stated that ‘Ching Ching’ will become one of the leading community radio stations in the region.
