TNUC will participate in all events and activities of CNPO like any other tribes of Chandel, with the exception of voting rights as this privilege is already given to TNL at UNC, it stated.

Among the resolutions passed, the assembly unanimously condemned the false and mistaken allegation of the involvement of CNPO executives and Langsai Thouna in levying taxes on trucks ferrying goods made by chief of Abungnikhu, Ts Behlung in a newspaper dated October 16, 2023, it asserted. CNPO will undertake all necessary steps to enforce customary law on Ts Behlung, it warned.

It sternly warned all traders and individuals to refrain from creating unnecessary troubles without fully exploring the complexities of the situation and without substance, affecting the movement of all the goods and services of the people due to this false allegation. It added that CNPO has investigated the same and there is no substance or truth in the allegation.
