"I want to appeal to the people of Manipur to cast their votes and save the indigenous population of the state as well as to protect the integrity of the state and bring peace at the earliest," CM Biren added.
Expressing optimism, he noted, "The law and order has improved in the last three-four months and that there have been no mishaps. Unfortunately, one incident took place yesterday but the situation is under control now."
There is not much problem with the law and order situation and normalcy and peace are returning, the CM said.
