Kakching High School 1984 Matric Batch members conducted a cleanliness drive at Kakching Lamkhai in continuation of the batch initiative on the theme, ‘Tha amma thabak amma’ on Monday.

They also offered Langban heikat leikat tamba - a ritual of offering tributes to the departed souls at Sengmai river in Keraching, which is known to be the place where the Kakching ancestors first resided.

President of the batch N Munal Meitei said that the cleanliness drive was carried out in the aim to keep Kakching Lamkhai clean and free from dengue for the womenfolk who have been on vigil in the area due to the ongoing violence.
