As part of the commemoration of four years of BJP-led government in Manipur, the district administration along with all the government employees posting at Tamenglong district headquarter on Wednesday carried out a mass cleanliness drive in and around the town.
The drive started from the medical gate and proceeded towards mini secretariat complex Tamenglong.
Speaking to the Imphal Free Press, the deputy commissioner of Tamenglong, who led the mass cleanliness drive, Armstrong Pame said that the mass cleanliness drive was organised to commemorate four years of government led by CM Biren.
The message of cleanliness drives is to say no to single-use plastic. “The cleanliness drive will be continuing to make sure the town is clean and free of single used plastic,” Pame added.
