Children’s Day 2022: Manipur Education minister extends greetings

Education Minister Th Basanta Kumar Singh appealed to all the children of Manipur to work hard to achieve their dreams and ambitions while inculcating discipline, humility and good virtues.

Manipur Education Minister Th Basanta Kumar Singh on Sunday extended well wishes to all the children of the state on the occasion of Children’s Day which falls on Monday.

In his message, Th Basanta Kumar stated that the significance of Children’s Day is to raise awareness about the rights, education and welfare of children.

He appealed to all the children of Manipur to work hard to achieve their dreams and ambitions while inculcating discipline, humility and good virtues to become successful in life.

He also assured that the government will try its level best to ensure that no child is deprived of the facilities of good education, health, hygiene, food and nutrition and a healthy environment.

“Let us not waste time and indulge in bad habits as students. Let us be obedient to our teachers and parents and contribute to the nation-building exercises of the country in future,” he added.
