During the visit, ADG, accompanied by Akhileshwar Singh, IG BSF Manipur & Cachar Frontier and other senior officers of BSF, visited various BSF Coys locations deployed at Imphal East and Kakching districts, PRO, M&C Frontier BSF stated in a press release.

He interacted with officers and troops deployed in Manipur and appreciated their relentless efforts & contribution in maintaining law and order in respective areas and further motivated them to carry out their duties relentlessly with utmost professionalism, the PRO stated.

Ravi Gandhi, ADG also met and interacted with senior state government officials including DGP Manipur Police and discussed about the roles played by BSF in maintaining the Law & Order situation in the State, the BSF stated.

Further, ADG BSF left for Nagaland to take stock of the operational preparedness of the BSF in Nagaland.
