A Chinese made hand grenade allegedly planted by miscreants was found at the gate of Haraorou Tangkham Gram Panchayat pradhan under Imphal East at around 8.40 pm on Thursday.

The pradhan has been identified as one Leishangthem Kullachandra alias Inaobi ,46, son of (L) L Gopal from Haraorou Mayai Leikai. The bomb has been collected by the Bomb Disposal Squad of Manipur police at 11.10 am and safely disposed of at Haraorou Kalenching around 11.25 am on Friday.
