Bijoy told the media that he along with two colleagues named Indramani and Kishan Keisham were chatting when the incident occurred.

As per CCTV footage, it was seen that two unknown persons with face masks came from the northern side of Bijoy’s residence in a scooter without a registration plate.

Bijoy said, “I do not understand why the bomb attack was carried out as I have no enemy. The only possibility could be a threat to silence me politically”.

A case has been registered at Lamphel police station for further investigation.
