The office of the State Blood Transfusion Council (SBTC) on Thursday announced that SBTC and NHM will be organising the World Blood Donor Day, 2023 on coming June 14.
Regular blood donors of Manipur will be felicitated at the programme which is to be organised with blood donors and donor organisations in connection with observance of World Blood Donor Day 2023 at Mini Conference Hall, JNIMS, stated a release issued by the director, State Blood Transfusion Council Dr S Ibungochouba Singh.
The donors should be between 18 to 65 years of age group and must be someone who has done blood donation 25 times and more, it stated.
Female donors should be between 18 to 65 years of age group who have done blood donation 15 times and more, it mentioned.
All the blood donors may contact Blood Centre JNIMS by 1 pm of June 12 with relevant documents including contact details, it added.
