The camp is the 33rd edition of the voluntary blood donation camp organised by Lions Club of Imphal Greater, Lions Club International District 322D, stated a release.

It stated that during the camp organised in association with Blood Bank and Transfusion Unit, JNIMS, members of Lions Club of Imphal Greater, MBBS students of JNIMS and voluntary blood donors of Manipur donated blood wherein 74 units of blood were collected.

Speaking in connection with the blood donation camp, Dr K Surjit Singh, chairperson of the project said that Lion Clubs around the world have been organising mass blood donation camps on a regular basis and informed that the club is planning to organize more blood donation camps in the near future, it mentioned.
