A blessing programme for Kisan Morcha BJP Manipur Pradesh vice president Ningreingam Kashung, who declared to join the fray in contesting the ensuing State general elections from Phungyar assembly constituency, was held on Saturday.
During the function held at Chadong village. BJP Ukhrul district vice president Graceson urged the mandals to make proper scrutiny for all the BJP intending candidates while assuring that district level party workers will do their part.
Speaking at the occasion, president of Kisan Morcha Ukhrul district, Mayonpam Gachui said the coming together of many people of the area at the blessing programme for BJP intending candidate to bless the candidate is a positive sign.
Among others, the programme was attended by state BJP leaders, including Basanta, K Kashung, A Pamei, Pamreiphy; areas headmen, chairmen, areas people, villagers, various BJP leaders of both Ukhrul district and Phungyar assembly constituency, madals, party karyakartas and well wishers.
