Tamenglong deputy commissioner L Anshim Dangshawa on Thursday appealed to the citizens of Tamenglong to avail the recently launched Ayushman Bhava scheme.
The DC said the Ayushman Bhava campaign-cum-health mela would be held at Dailong health and wellness centre on September 16, 2023.
Dangshawa further informed that the Ayushman Bhava campaign-cum-health mela would be held at Inriangluang health and wellness centre on September 20, at the district hospital Duigailong on September 23, at Kabonram health and wellness centre on September 28, at Akhui health and wellness centre on September 30 and at all PHCs and Health and wellness centres of Tamenglong district on October 2.
At the health mela, there would be, he said, distribution of PMJAY health cards, Tuberculosis TB identification and treatment, screening the population for Hypertension and Diabetes, Organ Donation pledge, free health check-ups, etc.
The Health and Family Welfare Department along with the District Administration will run the fortnight Ayushman Bhava campaign in the district from September 16 to October 2, he said and requested all to avail the benefits of the scheme.
