The post mortem examination on the body of Athuan Abonmai, former president, Zeliangrong Baudi, was conducted at the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) on Tuesday. The examination was carried out with full video coverage in the presence of Executive Magistrate.
According to highly reliable sources, the body of the victim had no bullet wound. However, head injuries were found allegedly inflicted by blunt and sharp object. Bruise marks were also found on the knees of the victim, added the sources.
The mortal remains of the victim is yet to be claimed by the family as the JAC and the state failed to come to an understanding.
