‘Army not stationing in Imphal’

The rumour of Army going to be stationed in and around Imphal is incorrect and false, security advisor Kuldiep Singh stated.

The Manipur government on Tuesday clarified that the rumour of Army going to be stationed in and around Imphal is incorrect and false. 

A release signed by security advisor Kuldiep Singh stated that there are no such decisions taken.

No steps will be taken by any agency without the consent of the state government, it stated.

The public is appealed not to believe in or spread such rumours, it added.
