ARIMSA donates 25 medical oxygen cylinders to RIMS

ARIMSA also assured RIMS director professor A Santa Singh that the association will continue to provide further support to combat COVID-19 pandemic in the future.

The Association of RIMS Alumni (ARIMSA) handed over 25 D-type (Jumbo) Medical Oxygen Cylinders to RIMS director professor A Santa Singh on Monday.

The donation was made by a team led by professor Th Bijoy Singh, vice president and professor RK Lenin Singh, honorary secretary of ARMSA in a simple function held in the office premises of ARIMSA, RIMS stated in a release signed by media advisor N Philip Singh.

It was donated by the members of ARIMSA working in various parts of India and abroad, RIMS stated. The director on behalf of the institute thanked the members of the Association for helping RIMS voluntarily during this crisis, RIMS stated.

The contribution of the ARIMSA in this critical timing will always be remembered, it further stated, adding this will help to save so many lives. 

ARIMSA also assured the director that the Association will continue to provide further support to combat COVID-19 pandemic in the future.

Vice president, professor Th Bijoy Singh, honorary secretary professor RK Lenin Singh, and executive members professor Y Nandabir Singh, professor Kh Ranjana Devi, Dr S Ibungochouba Singh were present during the function, RIMS stated. 

Deputy medical superintendent, RIMS Hospital professor Th Sachindeba Singh also donated NRBM Oxygen Masks and handed them over to RIMS director, professor A Santa Singh, it further stated, adding professor A Santa Singh also donated a sum of Rs. 50,000 to ARIMSA.
