AR organises science exhibition

The Tamenglong battalion of Assam Rifles on Sunday organised a science exhibition on the occasion of World Science Day with a theme of ‘Engaging Minds and Empowering Future’ at COB Khongsang in Noney district.

Adjutant Major Prasad informed that a total of 65 students, including teachers of Netaji Subash Chanda Bose Kendriya Vidyalaya, Rengpang joined the Assam Rifles in the conduct of a successful Science Exhibition.

He informed that the event started with a lecture cum presentation and culminated with students introducing their projects to the audience and the panel of judges.

He said the innovative and playful minds of the children can do wonders when guided and encouraged to discover new ideas apart from inducing critical thinking and enhancing technical skills in the students.

The winners were felicitated at the culmination of the event. The school students, management and faculty appreciated and expressed their gratitude for the efforts of Assam Rifles, he added.
