Applications invited for Manipuri Pony Farmer Award

The award will be sponsored by retired Veterinary department project officer Yengkhom Rajendra and consists of a cash prize of Rs 10,000 and a certificate, and has been awarded annually since 2017.

Applications are now open for the 8th Yengkhom Ibochou Singh and Tanou Devi Best Manipuri Pony Farmer Award, recognising excellence in Manipuri Pony breeding and foal production.

The award will be sponsored by retired Veterinary department project officer Yengkhom Rajendra and consists of a cash prize of Rs 10,000 and a certificate, and has been awarded annually since 2017.

Applicants must submit their forms by September 20 to the President or Secretary of the Trust at ‘Yengkhom Ibochou Singh and Tanou Devi Best Manipuri Pony Farmer Award,’ c/o Dr. Yengkhom Rajendra Singh, Vets Centre, Kakching Chumnang Leikai, PO Kakching, Manipur, India, 795103.

Applicants are required to submit two photocopies of themselves with their pony, three passport-sized photos, and a detailed report recommended by an NGO.

The award will be presented during a ceremony organised by the Library and Information Centre, Kakching, following a review by the Trust’s selection committee. For further details, interested pony breeders can contact at 919612883527.
